They crucified Lucifer,
The ancient Dragon
Sword wielding, forked tongue, hissing serpent.
His hands nailed; Spear thrust on twisting slippery waist,
And crown of thorns stuck on his horn filled head.
Like a magician with a new trick he smiled.
No blood spilled,
He turned the purple curtain in the synagogue black as the sun brightened.
The whores smiled; in their brothels the mourners they beckoned,
The righteous father’s eyes followed as he stood in purple and gold
Leading blonde sons crying pure gold
Ahead of charming evangelist on screens; charming and bold
And together they carried masses; of the new and the old’
Into the land of great fortune and heavy cold
Matthias Luther twisted in his grave.
Paul, the former Saul, inked the scrolls of his epistles.
As they crucified Lucifer,
The ancient Dragon
Sword wielding, forked tongue, hissing serpent.
His hands nailed; Spear thrust on twisting slippery waist,
And crown of thorns stuck on his horn filled head.
Like a magician with a new trick he smiled.
Mouth filled with a gold grillz set,
A gold plated forked penetrating tongue.
He anointed grillz mouth filled prophets,
Poured out and on; robe wearing mouth blubbing leaders of protests
Lyrical gospels they jotted with reason and logically plotted
The fall of the apple eating Adam.
The seal holding, banner leading crown princes rose
Bold with prose; supporting the cause; lifting and sinking the cross
Sin More child, Sin More they exclaimed
As they crucified Lucifer,
The ancient Dragon
Sword wielding, forked tongue, hissing serpent.
His hands nailed; Spear thrust on twisting slippery waist,
And crown of thorns stuck on his horn filled head.
Like a magician with a new trick he smiled.
Giving them the mountains and the valleys,
Bestowing to them butlers and valets,
Into their hands he placed hammers and mallets,
Into minds leprechauns and mermaids,
Into their adventure compasses and wallets
The voodoo chanting, bead connecting, gourd shaking prophets
Came dressed in three piece suits; well learned and bibled versed
Smiling, chanting as they crucified Lucifer,
The ancient Dragon
Sword wielding, forked tongue, hissing serpent.
His hands nailed; Spear thrust on twisting slippery waist,
And crown of thorns stuck on his horn filled head.
Like a magician with a new trick he smiled.
No blood spilled; no one saved
